VOLUNTEER RESPONSIBILITES
(Please read thoroughly.)
YOUR FIRST MORNING, YOU WILL:
See where the first aid kit is - if anyone is seriously hurt, immediately call 911! Some children have allergies and I will have that visibly posted. (NO NUTS of any kind can be brought into the building)
Kids look to you to show the tone and attitude of our CAMP + CLASSES. Please smile, talk clearly, have fun, enjoy your time creating!
Wear a watch so that you know when to move stations.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Comfy clothes/comfy shoes (you’ll be on your feet most of the time). Please dress appropriately (girls: nothing too short or revealing)
We will provide a special apron for you each day to show you are a helper.
Apron will cover your clothes, but you might want to wear clothes that you aren’t worried about getting paint on, etc.
WHAT YOU MIGHT BE DOING:
Helping to put aprons on
Assisting children with special needs
Assisting children who have questions on projects or are having trouble
Overall monitoring the camp—showing kids the bathroom, putting a bandaid on, getting water
Wash any supplies in the sink, dry and put away.
Set up / Clean up / Vacuuming
Taking Photos of Kids, Activities, Projects
Leading Games (if you’re comfortable doing this!)
Prepping Project Materials (cutting, drawing, assembling—can be done at home)
Leading Songs (if you’re comfortable doing this!)
Organize paint brushes according to size
Dust shelves and tables with rag from rag bin
Wipe doors, windows, bathroom mirror, and glass table with Windex wipes
Clean Bathroom - a. wash commode (bathroom bowl cleaner and brush)
Wipe commode and sink (spray cleaner and rag)
Mop bathroom floor with mop and floor wipe pads
